Europa-Park is an amusement and theme park in Rust, Baden-Wuerttemberg. With over 5,7 million visitors in 2019, it is the most visited amusement park in the German-speaking world.
In the "Entertainment" area, Europa-Park combines expertise in the areas of shows, events and event technology. With over 23 hours of shows a day, Germany's largest theme park constantly surprises its visitors with new show concepts at the highest level. Corporate customers of Confertainment also like to rely on Europa-Park's show professionals, including event technicians, to provide a suitable setting for their evening events. The Events department organizes several hundred events every year, from themed festivals to large party events, both inside and outside Europa-Park. In addition, there are around 1,300 corporate events for Confertainment customers.
We in the installation and equipment technology teams are made up of around 70 engineers, master craftsmen, specialists and technicians. We have been using AutoSTAGE for many years as planning software for space planning and for specialist planning in the areas of equipment, stage, lighting and rigging. This results in around I,000 plans per year. We make particular use of the options for customizing the symbol library to reflect the diversity of our events in the plans. We appreciate the always fast and personal support from AutoSTAGE, with which we were also able to implement Europa-Park-specific adaptations of AutoSTAGE, such as an interface to our ticketing system."
